I became a teacher because I fell in love with writing at a young age. I was eager to be a writer some day. It wasn't until college that I learned my love of helping others become amazing writers when I worked at a writing center. I soon changed my major to English with a teaching path in mind. The rest, they say, is history.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience has been the opportunity to teach at the high school I graduated from. Meeting all my old teachers as an adult and receiving mentorship from them has been a beautiful experience. I have grown as a teacher in my time here, and I have formed relationships that I wouldn't replace for anything in the world.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would like to buy a house. Unfortunately, due to some difficult circumstances, I haven't been able to afford a place to live with enough space for my small family. With this money, it would grant me the opportunity to buy the home of our dreams.
