I always loved working with kids and knew it was my passion early on. I’ve gone on to receive my Masters in Early Childhood Education. My kindergarten teacher is the reason I became a teacher. I remember her impact and how she made incredible relationships with students and families. I have now been teaching Kindergarten for a few years and absolutely love it!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience was my first year teaching Kindergarten. I was in a new school and new state and new grade. I loved my previous experience in first grade, and was initially nervous about Kindergarten. Although my year was challenging, I knew I wanted to continue teaching this grade! The growth from the beginning of the school year to the end is my favorite and most rewarding. Teaching the foundation skills as well as social and emotional learning brings me so much joy!
