Being the first born, I was responsible for my younger siblings. I enjoyed babysitting as a teenager, completed a two year course on early childhood, and nannied for a few years. With a background of working with children, teaching was the next step.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experience was when I had a student who had difficulty printing legibly. He was referred to an occupational therapist who suggested a Chromebook to type all his writing. I found paper that had raised lines and was interlined. By the end of the year, his printed had improved considerably. Another experience was when I had a class of 32 grade 3 students and worked at developing activities that were organized in stations. They were excited about learning math.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the money, I would put it towards travelling with my family and would cherish the time with them.
