Even though I had always thought that I didn’t want to be a teacher, I worked with students informally at my first job, and found that I enjoyed it.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen students visit me before or after graduation, long after they’ve had me in class, and they thank me for teaching them. I had one write me a wonderful note saying that I was the teacher who taught them how to study and that had such a positive impact on their learning journey.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’ve been wanting to create an educational YouTube or social media site to spread discovery and wonder in the world. Having a good digital microscope and some video equipment to help with this would be fantastic!
