I am a passionate educator dedicated to both teaching and learning. I know I have inspired many of my students, as several former students are now my colleagues in the teaching profession. Making a lasting impact on future generations is a noble cause. I also find great joy in seeing students overcome barriers in their learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIncorporating music into my lessons has had a profound impact on student success. Through singing, dancing, and learning together, I’ve witnessed those magical moments when students’ “light bulbs” turn on. Those joyful breakthroughs are not only powerful—they are truly unforgettable!
What would you do with the $25,000?I will purchase shoes, jackets, and socks for several students at my school. I also plan to invest in meaningful classroom resources, including realia and additional story character costumes to enrich learning experiences. And of course, I will set aside some money to enjoy a well-deserved trip to Hawaii!
