It has always been a passion of mine to help others see math as something more than a difficult subject. I believe that I can help make a change in people’s lives by being a role model to my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceProbably when I was told that I would make a big difference by being a Latina teacher and helping students who are wanting to understand math but in Spanish if possible.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would donate the money to my school to be able to provide resources to help the people who are in need.
