Originally, I became a teacher because I was not “allowed” to work as an auto mechanic. I, instead, went to work at our church-school as a Pre-K aide. I found that I was good doing what I did, and it was all downhill from there.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen another teacher took one of my students to calm down, and he said; I thought Ms. Shealy was mean, but then I realized that she was strict and just pushing me to be better.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 prize, I would pay off the student loan I took out for my doctorate degree. What is left over, I would buy some novel sets for my classroom to help expand their knowledge.
