Originally I became a teacher as just a way to supplement my income. That's how it started, however I fell in love with the "I get it" moment.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student who, like me, started the new school year with a new school. Her parents were kind and articulate but also concerned because this student struggled with math in the past (my subject). A few weeks into the school year, she scored a high grade on one of my tests and upon receiving this news her face lit up with the realization that she is capable of doing great things.
What would you do with the $25,000?A lot of it would go towards improving the equipment at my current school. As I am also the P.E. teacher and basketball coach, I would like to give back to our athletics program.
