Noelle

I love teaching because I get to know all of my students personalities, ignite their imagination, and see what great things they’ll do.

Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I saw how one caring adult can change a child’s whole story. I never want a child to grow up in an environment where they feel neglected or not special. I wanted to be the person who notices the quiet student, cheers the struggler, and shows every child they are capable, loved, and called to greatness. Teaching lets me plant seeds of curiosity, confidence, and kindness that will grow far beyond my classroom—and that’s the kind of impact worth a lifetime.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable students struggled to write or speak his ideas, yet his mind overflowed with beauty. He showed understanding through colorful drawings and a stunning art report that said more than words could. He loved being goofy, making us laugh, but in quiet moments his art spoke truth, courage, and joy. He taught me to look beyond pencils and voices—to see hearts, gifts, and brilliance in every child.

What would you do with the $25,000?

So many things! I’d love to make my classroom a welcoming, inspiring space for every child. I’d also fix up my home to host a summer camp for kids and use some of the money to help the homeless and less fortunate, reaching those who need it most.
