I became a teacher because I believe in the power of small moments. Watching children grow, gain confidence, and discover new skills brings me joy. I love guiding their curiosity, celebrating their progress, and knowing I play a role in building their foundation for lifelong learning.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was watching a child who struggled to speak begin using full sentences during play. After weeks of modeling language and encouragement, he confidently shared his ideas with the group. Seeing his pride and growth reminded me why I teach—because small breakthroughs can change a child’s confidence and future.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would invest in my classroom by creating engaging learning spaces and adding hands-on materials that spark creativity and curiosity. I would also set aside money for professional development and save a portion for my family’s future. Using it to support both my students and loved ones would make the win truly meaningful.
