I love teaching because I get to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students discover strengths they didn’t know they had.

Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I believe education can change a child’s future. I love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and realize they are capable of more than they think. Being part of those “lightbulb moments” and watching students grow academically and personally is what makes teaching meaningful to me.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was watching a student who struggled with confidence begin to believe in themselves. By the end of the year, they were participating, completing work independently, and proud of their progress. Moments like that remind me why teaching matters.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I received the $25,000, I would invest it back into my classroom by purchasing learning materials, technology, and resources that support all students. I would also create engaging learning experiences and opportunities that help my students grow academically and build confidence. 📚✨
