I had a little brother who was diagnosed at an early age with ADHD and was very hyper active when he was a toddler. My mom, being older in age didn't have a clue how to handle his hyperactivity. I wanted to see him be successful in life so I decided to take classes in special education and earn a degree. What I learned in the classroom as a student enabled me to provide information, resources, and interventions to my mom so she could handle my little brother better.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience was when I took my rising 9th graders on a school tour to our feeder high school. I ran across some of my past students and they embraced me with a huge hug and told me how much they appreciated me and missed being in my class.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win the 25,000, I would go on vacation and start a college fund or IRA account for my niece and nephew.
