From a younger age I have always loved to help little munchkins. I turned that passion into a career and do what I love daily.

Ever since I can remember I have always loved to interact with kids, creating fun games, activities, and helping how I can. I knew that working with children was the career path I would love and wanted. I began volunteering at the age of fourteen years old at a non for profit organization which lead me into various roles throughout my years there. With the involvement in the many different children programs, I grew more love for this field. Experiencing the appreciation is the biggest reward.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience came when I joined the Department of Education to work in a PreK classroom. I worked in the school for five years and have completed several funding projects to support my students and community. One of my student and her family wrote me a letter of gratitude and appreciation for the resources, supports and care I provided to them. Now the little girl who was once my student is in Junior HS and her family still reaches out with words of gratitude & kindness.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I will receive the $25,000, I would use this money to donate to the current school where I teach. It would be used to renovate the outdoor space for the students and incorporate a multi-use space for all learners. A space that will provide play in multiply capacities and abilities.
