I became a teacher because I had some of the most incredible teachers who inspired me to be like them! I wanted to be that person for every child that I come into contact with. Whether I am their homeroom teacher or just a teacher they see in the hall, I want to a positive light in their life.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceSome of my most memorable teaching experiences have been room transformations. When I can take my room from a room with 4 walls to a glow in the dark review of fun! Kids learn when they have fun so doing room transformations is one of my favorite experiences.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would most likely spend it on more room transformation supplies, more books for my classroom and books for students to take home. I would celebrate with my team and students at the end of the year for their hard work!
