Since I was in grade 11, I knew I wanted to work with kids. I also wanted to make a difference in terms of forming connections with the students and getting the students to form connections with each other. The ultimate goal was to create a “family” environment in the classroom.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of the most memorable teaching moment that actually happens every year is a moment where all the students are helping each other complete whichever task we are doing. The students aren’t asked but are ask to help other finish their project when they are finished. The students work well together in harmony which always brings me back to the reason I am a teacher!
What would you do with the $25,000?I am getting married this year after being together for 13 years, so I would hope it would go towards the wedding or a nice honeymoon :)
