Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I love working with children and shaping their young minds. No day is like another.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I loved when my little ones were sharing experiences with their parents. Also, when our school has a school mass and to hear all the kids say prayers together is so amazing. When I 4th grade teacher in Nebraska, was when my class did their Famous Nebraskans in a living museum and when we visited Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would like to travel to see how other schools work with children. I have always been interested in any school through the U.S. I would pay off my house loan so I don't have to worry about that in the future. I would donate some money to various schools in my community, also.
