I became a teacher because teaching has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I loved pretending to be the teacher while my cousins played the students. That early passion only grew stronger throughout my own school years. One of my biggest inspirations was my favorite teacher, Ms. Chalet Domingo. Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable moments are when students truly understand science and begin seeing the world with curiosity. I love when they’re excited to be in my class, talk about science at home, and ask new questions. Their hugs, “I miss you” messages, and the thoughtful letters they wrote when I wasn’t well remind me why teaching is so meaningful.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to bring more hands‑on science materials and interactive learning tools into my classroom. This would help students explore, experiment, and stay curious. The funding would create a more engaging learning environment and give my scholars the exposure and opportunities they deserve.
