I became a teacher because I had some amazing experiences with some of my own teachers. They made me feel so loved, welcomed, and smart. I too love working with kids and feel a calling to it, so I want to provide that same experience for my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceA couple years after I had this student, her mom saw me out in public and stopped and chatted with me. She told me that her daughter had written an essay about me and how I made a difference for her that school year. That was so memorable for me. 💕
What would you do with the $25,000?To start, I would pay off my student loans. 🙌🏼 I would also buy more materials and resources for my classroom because there’s never enough funding to pay for the things you need! I’m more than happy to pay out of pocket, but it can become a lot.
