Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment as a teacher was when one of my quietest students stood up in front of the entire class and confidently presented his animal research project. At the start of the year, he was too shy to speak during circle time. We worked on building his confidence—celebrating small victories, practicing one-on-one reading, and encouraging him to share his ideas. What would you do with the $25,000?With a $25,000 prize, I would transform my kindergarten classroom into a wonder-filled learning adventure—complete with books, hands-on STEM activities, interactive technology like tablets and learning apps, and a smart board to bring lessons to life. I’d add cozy reading nooks and flexible seating, host family literacy nights, send home discovery kits, and fund unforgettable field trips—sparking curiosity, confidence, and joy in every child.
