I became an Art Teacher to better equip the next generation of artists. Also, I enjoy fostering the phrase, you will always be a learner. In our space, we bounce ideas off one another as if we are working in a studio professionally while building confidence in their skills.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experiences are many. When I walk through the doors and see the smile on my scholars faces, happy to be in Art. Also, following up with them, offering support as they attend college courses. I enjoy hearing the stories and what they remember in class. I double check with them as to what is imperative that they learned in my class.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win $25,000, I would love to add different stations in my classroom like a printmaking, sewing with more sewing machines currently I have one, photography, jewelry station and more! I would also like to give away, an art scholarship.
