I became a teacher because Coach Garl inspired me to. She got to know every student she came in contact with, and I knew I would want to do the same! And I do! It’s my favorite thing about being a teacher! Getting to know and continuing to follow them after they leave me!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience is a week!! When I taught 5th grade I transformed my room daily for a whole week with unique learning experiences to prepare for state testing. Students to this day still talk about the “week of fun”.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay some bills and take my family on a once in a lifetime trip!
