I grew up with my grandparents, they were very loving and supportive of everything that I did. However, there was still that void of my parents not being present and feeling not good enough. I had some of the best teachers around that were comforting and caring. They made teaching look like the best job ever. I would also walk to the school in teacher work days and help teachers to pack up their rooms. I knew from a young age I wanted to help shape the life’s of the youth.
