I became a teacher because I had some wonderful teachers in my life who took the time to make me feel special. I wanted to be able to do that with future generations. Hopefully make a difference in their lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have many memorable experiences, but I think my favorite is reading to my classes. I love to see my students’ eyes as I read to them. I love to hear them giggle and be in awe of the book I’m reading. I love to introduce them to the beauty of reading.
What would you do with the $25,000?$25,000 would be wonderful. I would pay off a few bills and travel some. My husband and I are both teachers and we never seem to be able to afford to wonderful destinations. I think this would be a perfect opportunity after teaching for 32 years.
