I became a teacher by accident. I needed to leave a dead end job. So I responded to an ad for a paraprofessional, not knowing what it really was. Almost 8 years later I've worked my way up to full time teaching, and I can't imagine doing anything else.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience as a teacher was taking a group of special needs kids to a career fair and watching them light up as they were treated like everyone else and they explored careers they never dreamed about before.
What would you do with the $25,000?Part of the money woul go to catching up bills, part would be a starter scholarship for my son to go to college. And the rest would take my family on vacation
