I became a teacher because my childhood challenges taught me how important it is for kids to feel seen, safe, and encouraged. I want to be the adult I sometimes needed growing up—someone who believes in them and supports their potential. Teaching allows me to guide, encourage, and celebrate students as they learn and grow, helping them build confidence and realize they are capable of great things. 📚🍎✨

One of my most memorable teaching experiences is watching students grow in confidence through opportunities like in the classroom and Beta Club competitions. Seeing a child who once felt unsure step forward, share their talents, and succeed is incredibly rewarding. Celebrating their achievements and knowing I helped encourage them to believe in themselves reminds me why I became a teacher. Those moments make every challenge worth it. 📚🍎✨

If I received the $25,000, I would first pay down my student loan debt, which would relieve a huge financial burden. I would also use part of it to purchase classroom materials and resources that support hands-on learning and creativity for my students. Investing in both my future and my classroom would allow me to continue giving my students the best learning environment and opportunities to grow and succeed. 📚✨
