Ever since I was young it has just seemed like my calling. I loved playing school when I was little, loved helping my friends with their math homework in middle school and high school and it always just felt right. It still does, there is not a single day I think I am in the wrong profession.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceToo many to choose just one, but all are from the connections I’ve made with students. From watching students graduate that I taught for 6 straight years, to seeing the growth my calculus students make from year one to year two, to attending sporting events and show choir concerts, I am just so lucky to work with such amazing young adults.
What would you do with the $25,000?Probably take my family on a vacation or two. I have two young kids of my own and watching them learn and explore the world around them is very special.
