Tell us why you became a teacher

When I was younger, I always admire my teachers who brought hope to our lives. I thought that I wanted to become like them. To shape minds and to build future. I wanted to become my students inspiration.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

When I moved to ISA as a J1 Teacher. At first, I felt so nervous because I needed to adjust for the new setting like the curriculum, students, working environment and the school as a whole. However, during my first year I have realized that I am lucky fellow because I saw growth and progress of my students as manifested on the results of the statewide assessment. It is very impactful! Indeed, it’s not where you come from, it is the volition to change and to inspire!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use some of it to fund educational project way back home. I would donate some to the school I taught before I came here. Secondly, I would save for future and the rest will be given to my parents.
