I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference. I always looked up to my teachers and I always wanted to be that for someone else. I love working with kids and I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is always just seeing the growth. My kindergarten students started writing and there was another teacher in the room and she said I can’t believe how much progress you have made with this group. It feels so good to be recognized and know that the work you are doing is paying off.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would definitely buy stuff for my students and brand new classroom. I would also donate some to the school am I working at. I would love to give back to the community and families at my school.
