Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I am passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on students’ lives. During my early high school years, I saw how powerful a teacher’s influence can be. Their encouragement and belief in me inspired my love for learning and motivated me to become the same source of support and inspiration for my own students.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experiences are not rooted in curriculum, but in the relationships built within the classroom. Once those relationships are established, meaningful memories naturally follow. Each year brings new moments of growth, trust, and connection with my students. These relationships make teaching rewarding and create lasting memories that extend far beyond academics.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If given $25,000, I would invest in strengthening our PBIS framework by funding student incentives, behavior support programs, and data-tracking tools. The funds would support staff training, intervention resources, and school-wide initiatives that promote positive behavior, build relationships, and create a safe, consistent, and engaging learning environment for all students.
