Tell us why you became a teacher

I have always had a passion for working with children. Even as a child and adolescent I got involved with baby sitting and junior camp counselor at a young age. Family members are in the education field and inspired me to pursue my bachelors degree in education.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

That moment when things “click” for students when learning how to read or grasp a math concept will never get old to me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay off my accumulating credit card debt since us teachers don’t get paid nearly enough and the bills never stop! I’d also buy new windows/doors for my home instead of taking on yet another monthly bill.
