I love seeing the student achievements over the years. I like knowing I helped make a difference in their lives as they succeed in life.

I became a teacher because of my high school English teacher. She showed me so more care and concern while educating me at the same time. She was a positive and inspirational role model. I wanted to follow in her footsteps and do the same for the boys and girls that I have taught over the years. Many of my students, I still have relationships with today. I watched them grow and become successful and now I'm doing the same for their children. It brings so much joy to my life.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moments are when students come bring to me and tell my how much they much they gained from something I taught them in my class. They can recount how useful the skills are for them. I enjoy watching the students have "ah ha" moments which shows me that they understand the lesson that I am trying to teach. Their lightbulbs turning on signals success.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would pay off some bills for myself and some college loans for my son so he can begin his career without any debt. I would also like to do some home remodeling and purchase some new furniture for my home including a home office for my after school work.
