Tell us why you became a teacher

My passion comes way deeper beyond my soul I was once told that going to school was a waste of my time and money. I was told teacher don’t make enough to choose as a career but I was not in it for the pay but to build a better future of our little new generation! It was my dream ever since I was a child to work with kids. Even when I was a child I always played school and teacher with my cousins. I enjoy to teach all kids from regular to kids with special needs.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable experience is teaching a non verbal child to speak and teach them Spanish and minimize aggressions with breathing techniques self soothing regulations

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would used it to help me open up my own therapy area for kids with special needs that provides parent support group twice a month with sensory friendly activities and parent engagement activities with a 24hr help center for guided support in time of a crisis as well help myself as a single mom of two wonderful kids. My son was diagnosed with ADHD which because of him I want to create a safe space for kids and parents I know how rough it can be.
