It was the new chapter in my life. I had just left the Juvenile Court field after almost 20 years. I also was a new mother and was given the opportunity to work part time in my community at the high school on a part time basis. Since then I have transitioned into the classroom and have enjoyed every step of the way.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was the first time I saw my at risk students cross the stage at graduation. Some of the students were not sure they’d even come close to finishing but with the credit recovery program I was able to help a good number of the students meet graduation requirements.
What would you do with the $25,000?Help my own sons start the college/trade careers. Also look helping pay off our mortgage and any medical debt I still have from my victory over breast cancer. And finish my transition into education.
