Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in children’s lives. I love helping children learn, grow and believe in themselves and school is where students build not only academic skills but confidence, curiosity, and a sense of who they are. Being part of that growth is something I value deeply.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experiences are the moments when a student realizes they are capable of more than they thought. Watching that confidence grow is what makes teaching so meaningful.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would improve my classroom environment with updated learning materials, flexible seating, and a larger classroom library. I would also set aside funds for enrichment opportunities such as educational field trips and special classroom projects that allow students to explore real-world learning
