Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I believe every child deserves someone who believes in them. Growing up, I saw how much of a difference a caring teacher can make in a child’s life. That inspired me to be that safe and supportive person for my students.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was working with a student who was struggling academically and had very low confidence. At the beginning, the student would say, “I can’t do this,” before even trying. I worked closely with them, broke tasks into small steps, and celebrated every small success. One day, after completing an assignment independently, the student looked at me and said, “I did it by myself!” That moment meant everything to me. It reminded me why I chose teaching!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am gonna save for my kids future editand spend on my education . I was doing program in special education. I didn’t get any scholarships and I think that’s gonna be enough help for me to get teaching licking special education
