I became a teacher to pass on the love of learning, especially when it comes to learning science concepts, empathy, and math. I also became a teacher to advocate for those who can't advocate for themselves.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when I obtained a grant to purchase stream ecology kits for our 4th grade classrooms. With these kits, our students were able to study a stream on our school's property, collect and observe macroinvertebrates, and learn more about the ecosystems and health of water around us.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off my student loan debt from earning three education degrees.
