I love teaching Pre-K because it’s where the magic of learning begins. Every day I get to watch little minds grow and see their excitement.

I became a teacher because I’ve always had a passion for working with young children. Before teaching, I worked at a daycare, and that experience showed me where I truly belonged. I love helping little ones learn, grow, and build confidence. Being part of their early development is incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful to make a difference in their lives every day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable experiences was watching a shy student who barely spoke at the beginning of the year grow into a confident learner. By the end of the year, they were participating, making friends, and even helping others. Seeing that transformation reminded me why I chose teaching, it’s the little moments of growth that make the biggest impact.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would invest in both myself and my classroom after 25+ years in education. I would set aside funds for retirement, take a well-deserved trip, and focus on my health and wellness. I would also use a portion to enhance my classroom with updated materials, flexible seating, and resources that support student learning and growth. It would be a meaningful way to care for both my future and my students.
