Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher bc I wanted to make a difference in children’s lives. I have 32 years in the elementary school teaching third graders right now. They are the future and now have the key to fixing our world.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have many memorable memories. But in March I was teaching a Dr. Seuss book called Oobleck. I dyed my hands green while we’re making that product, the green Oobleck . I had green hands for a couple weeks.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would build a green house so I could grow vegetables and flowers, To give to my families and to the pollinators. I also want to fix some of the classrooms with supplies they need for science.
