I first wanted to became a teacher because I saw the joy that it brought my grandma as she had been a teacher and talked about it quite often. I have had many wonderful teachers growing up that solidified this decision. I also wanted to be a teacher, because I absolutely love helping students succeed. One of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to see when lightbulb moments happen.

If being gifted $25,000, I would first put money into finishing financing the rest of my Masters of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction that I have started. This will help me to continue to educate my students in the best way possible, applying new skills learned. Next, I would put any remaining money toward a down payment on a house. This would be a huge gift and blessing!
