I became a teacher because I have had a lot of jobs growing up and in college that dealt with kids. I felt inspired by the kids I worked with in multiple jobs when I helped them achieve their goals and have success. I feel that children are the future and there is no job that molds the future better than teachers. I want to help lead the kids to become good leaders and people so that our future will be bright.

I feel my most memorable teaching experiences are not one specific moment, but rather when all my students come back and visit me and tell me of their successes and how I inspired them or helped them get on track to a better path in life. I was really happy to help write a few resumes that helped students get into colleges they wanted to go to and get jobs that they were working towards. I even had one student tell me they became a teacher specifically because how I helped them in school.

I would like to do a humanitarian service project and take a trip to Europe and see other cultures to see how different societies operate so I can incorporate the different cultures and thinking into my curriculum.
