Learn MoreI became a teacher because I have had a lot of jobs growing up and in college that dealt with kids. I felt inspired by the kids I worked with in multiple jobs when I helped them achieve their goals and have success. I feel that children are the future and there is no job that molds the future better than teachers. I want to help lead the kids to become good leaders and people so that our future will be bright.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI feel my most memorable teaching experiences are not one specific moment, but rather when all my students come back and visit me and tell me of their successes and how I inspired them or helped them get on track to a better path in life. I was really happy to help write a few resumes that helped students get into colleges they wanted to go to and get jobs that they were working towards. I even had one student tell me they became a teacher specifically because how I helped them in school.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would like to do a humanitarian service project and take a trip to Europe and see other cultures to see how different societies operate so I can incorporate the different cultures and thinking into my curriculum.
