My fourth grade teacher was my favorite teacher. My friends and I would go home after school and PLAY school! I love working with kids and they tell you like it is. I feel forever young being around them and love being their mentor.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceLast year was my best class of kids so far. I had surgery last year and was supposed to go back in 3 weeks. I loved them so much I went back a week sooner. I teach 6th grade and had over 100 hundred students. I will never forget them and they see me in the hall and say, “I wish I could go back to 6th grade!” It make me feel so proud to be a teacher.
What would you do with the $25,000?My husband and I had our 20th anniversary in 2025. We never had a real honeymoon and are saving up to go somewhere. I would love to go on a real honeymoon with him and use the rest of the money to help my son who is going to Purdue now. He is a freshmen this year.
