Both my parents were teachers. I grew up watching how they impacted their world. They heard from former students who shared how each of them had made a difference. I wanted to continue that legacy.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI taught Mock Trial. One year my middle school students had to compete in the high school bracket. I worked with those students during class, after school and any anytime I could and watched as they embrace that challenge. They not only took first place in that category that year they managed to get a witness to confess to murder.
What would you do with the $25,000?Currently my We the People team has been chosen to attend the national competition in Washington DC. We need to fund raise to pay for the trip. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. I will use the money to cover any remaining expenses.
