I became a teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing to truly make a difference in DHH education and to bridge the gap in their language and education. I also wanted to become a DHH teacher to bridge the cultural divide between the hearing world and deaf world.
What would you do with the $25,000?With 25,000, I would buy resources and materials for my middle school classroom to ensure equal access to education for my Deaf students. Money would also be utilized to pay off bills for my new home!
