Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I believe education changes lives. Growing up, I saw how teachers can influence not only a student’s academic success but also their confidence, mindset, and future opportunities. I wanted to be that kind of positive influence in students’ lives. I believe education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking barriers and creating opportunities. As a mathematics teacher, I especially enjoy helping students overcome the fear of math.

If I won $25,000, I would divide it wisely between responsibility, growth, and giving back. First, I would save and invest a portion to secure my financial future. Second, I would use part of it for professional growth. Lastly, I would support my family and possibly give back to my classroom by purchasing additional learning materials or resources that enhance student engagemen.
