I entered education because I wanted to be the kind of teacher I needed when I was a child.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are so many, it's hard to narrow it down to one experience. Teaching is a collection of experiences. It's seeing the light go on in a child's eye, it's laughing with my kids, it's knowing I'm the only constant in some of their lives.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off some of my bills, and take my mom on vacation. She takes care of my dad who has Parkinson's Disease and my grandmother, who is 93. She needs and deserves a vacation.
