Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable times in my teaching is when my students built and cooked in their own solar ovens. What a great experience to see my kiddos learn about thermal energy, temperature, and design.
What would you do with the $25,000?I think that I would put that money back into my classroom and provide some trips for my kids that would enrich their learning and increase and inspire knowledge about places we normally would not be able to go. We are bound unfortunately by our bus schedule and we aren't able to provide a lot of trips that are local but too far for busses to get back for their routes. We have science centers in Pennsylvania and the museums in Washington that my kids would love to visit and learn from.
