Learn MoreI became a teacher because I believe in the power of small moments to shape a child’s future. With both my mom and grandpa as teachers, I grew up seeing the impact a caring educator can have. I strive to create a classroom where students feel safe, valued, and confident. Teaching allows me to build relationships, inspire curiosity, and make a lasting difference in my students’ lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was when my students and I designed and 3D printed keychains to raise money for victims affected by Hurricane Melissa in the Caribbean. It combined creativity, technology, and compassion, allowing students to see how their skills could make a real-world impact while helping others in need.
What would you do with the $25,000?If awarded $25,000, I would put it toward adopting a baby. Adoption is a meaningful but often costly journey, and this support would help ease the financial burden while allowing me to focus on building a loving, stable home. Becoming a parent has always been a dream of mine, and this opportunity would bring me one step closer to growing my family.
