I love teaching because I get to inspire confidence, build leaders, and watch students grow academically and personally every day.

I became a teacher because I want to make a difference in children’s lives. I love helping students learn, grow, and believe in themselves. Seeing their excitement when they understand something new reminds me why teaching matters. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching moments was when a student who struggled with reading finally read a sentence on their own. The smile on their face and the pride they felt was unforgettable. Moments like that remind me why I became a teacher—helping students grow, gain confidence, and realize they can succeed.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would first use part of it to pay off the student loans I took out to go back to school for teaching. Becoming a teacher was important to me, but it required financial sacrifice. I would also use some of the money to support my classroom by purchasing books, supplies, and learning materials to help my students succeed.
