I became a teacher because I remember struggling in school and there was one teacher that clicked with me and was able to break things down for me so I understood. I want to be that teacher for all my students. I’m not only teaching, but I’m teaching with clarity and deep understanding. I love watching lightbulb moments happen for each of my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is when the class I student taught, went to the school of economics. They got to create their own stores and sell food to the rest of the grade. It was interesting to watch what they made, how much they sold it for, and what they named their store. Students learned so much with this real life learning experience.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would save it for a down payment on a house.
