Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive difference in students’ lives and help them discover their potential. I enjoy creating a space where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to learn new skills. Watching students grow in confidence, solve problems, and realize they are capable of more than they thought is the most rewarding part of teaching.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was taking a group of students to the Technology Student Association Regional competition. They brought home six awards, including 1st place in Coding, along with multiple Cybersecurity and Forensics awards. Seeing their hard work, teamwork, and confidence pay off was incredibly rewarding and reminded me why I love teaching and supporting students in STEM opportunities.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If it is for personal use, I would use the $25,000 to improve my quality of life by paying off debt, saving for future goals, and investing in experiences like travel, personal development courses, and hobbies that bring joy and growth. This would give me security, new opportunities, and the chance to focus on things I love while planning for a more stable and fulfilling future.
